This First Friday, the 6th Avenue Gallery makes its grand debut with “Inspired Soles,” an art show and auction. Local Phoenix artists took on the challenge to use black stilettos as their canvases. The 6th annual Coffee, Cookies, and Crafts in downtown Phoenix features free coffee from Jobot Coffee Shop, sweets from local bakeries, and local craft vendors such as A Blissful Life, Crafty Modern, Elysian Art, and Urban Adornments. There will also be a craft supply swap, so bring all those leftovers and refresh your supplies. Young crafters are welcome, so bring out your young Etsy entrepreneurs!

Tonight at 8 p.m., Phoenix College hosts a Jazz Celebration Festival Concert in the Bulpitt Auditorium. Tickets are $5, and all proceeds benefit Rosie’s House, a non-profit music academy for children.
